We welcome you to our charming Inn of multiple houses with high standards that are expected by today's traveler. Our Inn is centrally located near the hub of the city and offers you a combination of quality, clean, and comfortable accommodations, along with friendly hosts and staff. We are licensed by the State of Alaska, inspected and approved with three star rating, and inspected and approved by other Associations as well. We are proud members of the Bed and Breakfast Association of Alaska and the Fairbanks

Convention and Visitors Bureau. We have been serving the needs of travelers coming to Fairbanks for the last 20 years.

The atmosphere here is mostly contemporary, with an Alaskan home-style ambiance, and mixed with generous doses of friendly hospitality that only Alaskans can offer. We provide a smoke-free environment, and children are welcome. However, we do not accommodate pets and ask that you honor this policy.

Your comfort is our business! Each room is uniquely appointed with guest comfort in mind allowing for all the privacy of a hotel yet still all the warmth of home. We go the extra measures to ensure your pleasure by offering excellent bedding, knowledgeable staff, wonderful amenities and delicious breakfasts. In addition to your comfortable and cozy stay, you can experience special pampering services such as single or couples massage. When you reserve one of our private Premium Suites the pampering continues with special amenities such as steam-showers and in-room Jacuzzi Whirlpool Tubs for 2. Of course we need to know in advance if you'd like any of our massage services.

Policies

CHECK-IN TIME
Check-in is from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Special arrangements can be made for earlier or later arrivals, BUT MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE as there is no one on staff after 10:00 p.m. As a B&B Inn we simply cannot operate like a hotel and have someone on staff at all times. (We need our sleep so we can be rested and fresh for your morning breakfast!) Thank you for complying with our policy.

CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-Out time is 11:00 a.m.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

1-5 Days Reserved. An advance deposit of the first night will guarantee your reservations. This may be done through credit card or check . Deposits will be refunded if you cancel your reservations 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival, less a $35 cancellation fee.

6-10 Days Reserved. An advance deposit of 2 nights will guarantee your reservation and is non-refundable if cancelled.

10 or More Days Reserved. An advance deposit of 3 nights will guarantee your reservation and is non-refundable if cancelled.

TRAVELERS INSURANCE: Most people don't think about getting insurance for their travels, maybe believing either their own medical insurance may cover them, or their auto insurance. This is not always the case when you are traveling out of your state or country. Thus we highly suggest you acquire insurance for those unexpected cancellations. LARGE PARTY BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

This policy applies to all large party bookings of 5 rooms or more that are held on our calendar for more than 2 months. This policy differs from the above policy. Our business is primarily based on advance reservations so cancellations with short notice are most often not re-rented and this creates a significant loss for our Inn. 50% of the total reservation is required to hold a group reservation, is non-refundable, and the balance is due 30 days before arrival.

Minnie Street Bed & Breakfast has only a 4 month summer period per year to rent out our rooms, so when a large group holds rooms for long periods of time, other reservation requests are turned away. When you cancel with short notice, we have little opportunity to re-sell these rooms.

SMOKING AND PET POLICY

We provide a smoke-free environment in all our rooms and request that you honor this policy. Provision has been made for you to smoke outside. A $200 charge to your credit card will apply if we find that you smoke indoors.

There are no pets allowed in the rooms, even in a pet carrier . Exception given to K-9 Police dogs in kennels.
